Zach, We should be facilitators in the classroom because whether we like to admit it or not, we don't have all the answers. Even if we did, the students gain so much more if we help them find the answers instead of giving them the answers. Dr. Moody Crews

Bonnie, We all have our thing that slows down our process in this. At least you understand what your thing is "mothering" your students. I will say that a little mothering is good as long as it doesn't interfere with the students learning or their willingness to take responsibility for their own learning Dr. Moody Crews

Bonnie, I often use pop quizzes for that very reason. I do not give a quiz in every class meeting. They do seem to work. Dr. Moody Crews
