Sometimes I find that not only probing can be a bit uneasy not only for the student by myself as the instuctor.  Does any one have any ideas on how to maintain a positive learning experince while trying to guide the student for the correct information?

I think probing is a great technique to guiding students to the correct answer but I also find it to be intimidating for students at times. How soon should you redirect the question to another student that may be experiencing this?
I have found this to style to be such a great energy booster for not only the student but the instructor as well. We are challenged everyday and sometimes the energy level can be effected so this was a great compliment to my teaching style.

I found this to be very useful in a course Im actually teaching currently. I have been trying to figure out other creative ways to teach my class microphone theory. What are some ways in keeping the overall commitment from everyone in the groups of 5-6 people? There is nothing worse than coming up with a very create educational game and see some of the students not participating?
I find that being competitive is a great way to build a students confidence on the information given on that particular day. I find that I seem to loose my students when I just have notes and I explain sometimes. Games and competitive strategies are a great way to help the moral and confidence in the student. However, what about the student who isn't sure about him/her and doesn't perform well in the class "game"? How should we find a happy medium?
What are some of the best ways to make a foreign student feel more comfortable when they may not be able to pronounce a term correctly? I find that although students/peers think its comical its not conducive to my teaching environment.

Whats is a more effective way to communicate to the students any changes upon administration requirements. Im trying to be more understanding and make the students feel comfortable with concerns.
I find that group settings are always a good way to keep students and involved in the class topics and a great way to retain students to class. The competition of activities and games I have found to be very informational for students and an enjoyable experience for the students. Any other suggestions?
