This module deepened my understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities required of admissions representatives in Texas career schools. I learned that every interaction with a prospective student must be grounded in truth, transparency, and compliance with state regulations, especially those outlined in Subchapter D and Subchapter S of Texas Rules Chapter 807.

In this module, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the role placement and career services play in supporting student success and employment outcomes. I learned that institutions vary in the scope of services they offer—from externships and employment skills workshops to alumni engagement and job search support. I now understand the importance of knowing exactly what my institution provides, including who delivers these services, when they are available, and how they are integrated into the student experience.

Through this training module, I have gained a thorough understanding of the regulatory responsibilities, ethical standards, and procedural requirements expected of admissions representatives in Texas. I now recognize the importance of adhering to both state law (Chapter 807) and the Texas Education Code (Chapter 132), especially as they relate to enrollment agreements, advertising practices, student admissions, and representative conduct.

Through this training, I have gained a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment governing admissions practices, particularly those outlined by the Texas Workforce Commission, Career Schools and Colleges. I now recognize the critical importance of compliance, transparency, and ethical conduct in all aspects of student recruitment and enrollment.
