I learned reasons why students leave a program and how to encourage them to stay. I've had more than a few students who wanted to drop out because they had technological difficulties.

This module taught me some benefits of asynchoronous discussions that I was previously unaware of. It definitely benefits those students who are normally shy or reluctant to share in the traditional classroom or synchronous discussions.

I learned a better way to organize my biography for students. I'll divide it into three sections: academic credentials, professional experience, and special interests.

Instructors need to understand how the CMS system works in order to help students. It's not enough just to know the subject matter, teachers need to provide students with technical support as well. I actually created a PowerPoint, that I email the day before the term starts, that reviews some important aspects of Canvas.
