Great module on testing.  I like the concept of adding extra options to the "matching" tests to really make the student consider what they know.

At my previous company, we would perform CBWA (Coaching By Walking Around). As we toured the areas, we would stop and speak to the employees, either asking a they had a work question, or just asking how they are doing, maybe asking a personal question (What type of music do you listen to?). This helps increase the relationship and starts the dialouge. 

 

I never knew of the existence of ODD until today.  I have probably known a couple of people with this disorder that I probably dismissed as just being "difficult" or a "jerk". Instead of making an instant judgement, now I definitely will observe that person a little more closely to find the true root problem. 

 

I wish i had gone over this content in my previous job, as I dealt with a lot of Gen Y and Z associates.  For the most part, I used a lot of the strategies listed, but there are some points I could have used to make my job easier, but also to share with my fellow Coaches. 

 

Two new terms I will take with me:  Digital Native and Digital Immigrant

 

I never really knew the timelines of the Generations.  This was extremely informative to me. I didn't realize that Gen Z craves more physical interaction. This is the kind of course that I will re-visit periodically as a reminder.
