If it wasn't documented, it wasn't done....as well as clear, concise, objective documentation for student's record.  

I have learned to be proactive with the students I am responsible for, and to make sure our employment verification processes are as tight and complete as possible.  Also, if there is a question about whether or not a student is "placed" the decision should not be made by a single individual.  Continuous improvement is key.

 The most important take away from this section is to make your requirements for what is considered a "placement" crystal clear with all of the folks in the Career Services Department and to use resources when needed

My biggest takeaway from this module is to completely  understand how vitally important reporting accurate placements and salaries is.  The different perspectives on "gainful employment" was also eye-opening as I had never thought about it from any other perspective than monetary.
