Product knowledge is the very best way to add value to the admissions process.  It enhances the prospective student's experience while obtaining knowledge and information about the school.

In this segment, I learned best practices and multiple ways to assist students with whether or not our school is the correct fit for them.

Helping students find the best resources for their needs is crucial.  Especially for our students at Stratford. We have a high international student population and sometimes some of the items needed for admissions requires a few extra steps.  Helping with the proper resources is a necessity!!

From this segment, I have learned best approaches to information concerning perspective and potential students.

It is always to know where a student comes from and what the current situation is about.  This better helps you assist the student and their needs when obtaining knowledge and information about their potential school.

I learned with this segment to be very conscious of my team and how they look at things.  Together we can change weaknesses to strenghts and work through any problem or area that might need improvement.

Talking with other AO's and sharing best practices always is a benefit to an AO.  Experience in the field is always a bonus, but sometimes shedding new light on familiar situations leads to better productivity and creative ways in working through challenges with students.

It has not taken long to figure out how a prospective student likes to communicate.  Once that method is determined, keep with it.  It makes your day much more productive in the long run!
