Going through this module I thought back to many online classes I took in college.  Very few times did the professor participate in the discussion threads.  I will absolutely be actively involved.  I want my students to know I am there for them.  

I like the idea of sharing biographical information to assert authority in the online class as well as learning about one another.  This is something I will use.    

One of the most important things I took from this module is the importantance of being organized and well prepared before you even start to set up an online course.  Just like teaching in a live classroom, I more prepared I am the smoother the lesson runs and the students understand what is expected and being taught to them.
