The importance of projecting your authority and presence will encourage a good teacher/student relationship and mutual respect.

There are help available for students as well as staff in times of need. Whether crisis or students need for dental and health insurance. We should be able to be of help to people around us and be there for them.

Its' very important to know which style of teaching works and which doesn't. Adaptability to students in the classroom is important too.

One should be careful with advising students and make sure we are within the school policies 

Listening is not just listening, one has to do what you told them you would do. Focus on each student who wants a conversation with you or wants attention. It matters to them a lot.

Students are not just customers, we need to understand each student to and cater to each one for each student is a different person. There is not just one way to deal with students.

I have learned that students go through different challenges and I should be able to adjust to each one of them. Patience comes a long way.
