Learning about the different students actually makes the teaching a challenge but also a reward if we are able to provide them the tools to succeed while trying to use their attributes and educate them in subtle ways.

Making sure that I am open and honest with the students is important to build rapport with them but also making sure that I am engaging so they feel comfortable.

Having different lecture styles and demonstrations will hopefully help my future students love to learn and engage with the material for their careers.

Try to make the first impression a best foot forward to get the students to feel comfortable but also feel that this class is important for their future endeavors as they are building the foundation for their future.

Being prepared and coming in early will show the students that you care.

I hope to give the students a little piece of myself as a nurse that they can bring along to their patients for the future.

It is super important to have a professional appearance with your students but also remember to be fluid with your teaching style and plan to adapt to what your cohort needs.

Staying up to date on evidence based practices and researching will allow you to know the subject matter and be competent so your students can be motivated to learn as well.

Being that I am from a hospital setting now to teaching, there are many different ways that facilities now have to accommodate students with disabilities to ensure they have equal opportunity in the workforce which is done at a hospital or other facilities in future employment.
