Learning about the four O's was interesting.  Keep them engaged & be interesting. 

Engagement is the key.

Be familiar with the different teaching methods & utilize which one will be used for each teaching course.  Know the differences. 

We must be aware of all of the tools available to us, so that we can choose the best for the subject matter. 

As a semi new instructor, I have learned that showing passion for what is being taught keeps them interested longer in each subject. 

Be engaging to your students, keep the material light & fun, also be as interactive when possible to keep them from losing interest. 

I start my teaching day with a hello or a good morning to everyone. Engaging in "small talk" to ease the student into the day.  Showing passion about being there for them and showing a positive attitude toward the day.

We are all different and learn at different levels, however it is important to know how each student learns and on what platform.  Our teaching approach should be fair, and consistent.
