I think it is important to target all ways of learning.

I have learned how important rubrics are and how they can help students ability to reach the goal.

How important tracking students progress and what they are learning.

When evaluating students mastery of content, I ask open ended questions to allow students to provide me as much information as possible. This allows me to guide them into the desired information.

I am going to work on preparing instructional content that allows students to interact and direct the lesson.

Modern day students are less likely to prefer receiving content and information from instructor than on their own. Provide student with avenues to research and answer tasks.

It is important not only to have content that keeps students engaged but also to provide an interesting beginning and end to class. Interesting beginnings motivate students to show up on time and interesting endings motivate students to not leave early'

I like the idea of less lecturing. I am not particularily a strong lecturer to the whole class. I choose to lecture in a 1 to 1 setting. I find that much more beneficiial to the student. I find it much better for the students to prepare and then I will strengthen the content and the how much they retain.

Reflections are great because the focus on the result. Reflections allow us to look at the process and see what the outcome is and how it was achieved.

I learned that JIT teaching can allow student to do much of the preparation and lessons before the F2F lessons.
