Activity

I need to understand where each and every student is coming from. Look at them as individuals who all have different styles of learning.

It's important to know the main factors that lead to students dropping out. These stressors can be worked on (by clubs/systems) and improved to help retention

Active listening is very important. There are several stages to working with students, don't just use a "one style meets all" approach

Encouragement and working with students is key. Things can spiral out of control quickly, and it's best to be observant and help students work with stressors.

Retention really is a campus effort. It's best to understand the student, the orientation, the expectations, and goals. Being proactive can help

I really enjoyed the Adaptive Learning section of Maxknowledge. I think it will help me tailor future lesson plans towards my students strengths.

I recommend the course.
