Find something you know that works and provides you with the information you need.  Newer doesn't mean better!

Keep participation rules campus wide.  It allows students to not be worried about the logistics.  If a change has to be made to these, it should be readily discussed!

Clear guidelines, regardless of generation, will make your class run smoother...BUT, you have to adhere to the rules you set!

Either the faculty member sets the rules or the students will set the rules.....your choice!

Communication is expected foremost from the faculty member. Students will get involved when they believe it is worth their time and effort.

Different media for different tasks....pleases top making long videos.  They are just not watched.

Your feedback will help or hinder their learning...simple as that.

Students have to be taught why this type of learning is beneficial to them and not just busy work to complete.

Consistency is your friend.  I want to make a class that students feel comfortable in, that they they do not get anxiety in looking for stuff, yet intrigued enough about that they want to discover.

Faculty have got to give students a chance in multiple modalities to show critical thinking is enhanced.
