When using instructional modules limit yourself to one to two main ideas and concepts also supporting those concepts with either audio or video clips pictures or instructions to clarify any points to be made

I believe using different methods to encourage participation will help for a more meaningful dialogue and more communication between myself and the students in between the students themselves. 

I've learned that asynchronous and synchronous learning can be both used but you need to know the needs of all of your students. 

As there are many tools to use for online learning, I believe in our trade for cosmetology the voice over PowerPoint recorded lectures or tutorials would be extremely helpful to our students.
