The process to create different types of questions to assess the students knowledge. Things to avoid when creating the questions or choosing a specific type of questions. 

Assessing students with ungraded questions/tasks is a great way to understand their current level of knowledge. I also liked having the students write down questions they have, so that the student may feel more comfortable asking them.

Knowing the different questioning techniques is critical to assess the students understanding.  Just as important is the instructors reply, because it has the potential to encourage or discourage students from participating.

it is important to be creative when delivering lessons so that it is inclusive of all learning styles.

It is important to keep an eye out for disruptive behavior as it can negatively impact the learning environment. Always go back to the institutions polices to help navigate difficult situations.

It was interesting to learn about the different learning styles, specifically the 3 that can hinder learning for other students (avoiding, competitive, and dependent).

Although it is an online class, it is important to build a relationship with the students. They need to know that you are there for them.

It is important to become well versed with the CMS being used as it will better equip me to assist the students.

How to transition from F2F to online, want to make it interactive and welcoming, however, not overwhelming. It takes time to transition and content should be validated prior to execution to ensure it it effective.

It is important to assess the students learning needs.  Look for feedback, correct all misinformation, and reassess teaching style to ensure the delivery facilitated learning and not confusion.
