While technology can make life and communication easier, it comes with some downsides.  As instructors we need to ensure our communication is clear and consistence, so it does not become biased.

Keeping things organized, and easy access makes things easier for the instructor to help all students throughout the course. Maybe create a "cheat sheet" for yourself for quick reference.

Feedback is crucial in online learning because it provides reassurance and criticism.

Even though the course is online, it is important to get to know your students on a personal level.

I learned how important it is to know the CMS entirely. 

I have only done online teaching and that was during COVID. I found it very hard to clinical teach online, but we had no choice so myself and my students made the most of it. 

Comment on Jennifer Burr's post: I also use a lot of personal experience, the students are really engaged when you use real life examples.  I have tons from the hospital I use to work at.
