I learned that I need to improve my computer literacy skill as listed here, especially improving my system for files and folders and file-naming.  

Cyber learning is becoming a more important part of education that ever before and it needs to be integrated into the classroom experience as appropriate.

Learning about writing as a way to enhance student skills and learning.

Seems like the Pennsylvania Soft Skills study is just common sense.

I try to create a classroom environment where adult students must analyze multiple factors, synthesize many factors and create a product.  Then have them defend their (typically group) product in discussion with the class.

I have not read Eric Mazur but this sounds much like the case study method, or a variation of it.  This always works well if you have enough time for students the read the case study.
