Activity

Develop lesson plans that keep the students engaged.

Learn and call each student by their name.

Plan early and carefully. Make a list of what needs to be done each class.

I have learned that I am a model, manager and motivator for my students.

Although I may have a student(s) who knows more about the subject than I do, my experience on the subject matter will keep them intrigued.

Add storytelling to your instruction but have charisma. Do it every twenty minutes if needed.

Starting class by being lighthearted, in addition to prepared and excited about the subject sets the tone for the day.

I learned how to deal with students when they are frustrated by remaining neutral in order to diffuse the situation and offer assistance. I also learned how to support adult learners regarding intrinsic and extrinsic needs.
