This is a good point Patrice! As an English instructor, you are always going to have a stack of papers to grade. I wonder if you have ever tried having your students grade each others' paper. This has been a strategy that has worked well for me in the past, and ads a new dimension to the educational process too!
I have used many of the practices identified in this course and they really have helped me. The biggest challenge for me is actually sticking to them, but I do experience the benefits when I do.
Both physical activity and breathing exercises are great coping mechanisms Barry. Go ahead and give them a try one at a time. You can start small too.
Yes, it's a large hurdle indeed Ed. With immediacy, we get a lot done quickly. However, priority tasks can slip through the cracks and it's hard to know when to clock out for the day.
Sounds you already have a great system in place Judy. Also nice to hear that you intend to continue to build upon it - making your life better and better.
Yes, it is key in surgical tech that students show us they can apply their knowledge. It is still possible to streamline grading in these courses but we must be careful to not negatively impact the learning process.
You have a fairly typical process Robert. If it works for you, keep it up!
Books, TV and articles are all great escapes Matthew. It's great to just take a break with one.
These are great ideas Jeremy. These days, there are lots of variations of both meditating and yoga classes to choose from. One variation, hot yoga, tents to be popular right now.

Training new instructors can be tough, but you are right in that without trained staff, it's hard to delegate. Investing your energy training staff early can pay off later. It just takes making some sacrifices up front.
