That sounds great Amber! Turning something negative into something positive is a great coping mechanism.
I like your system Anthony. It sounds like it's simple, fair and easy to grade.
Wow, sometimes when we try to do multiple tasks at once, we're not able to do any of these tasks well. I can't imagine cooking, paining and emailing all at the same time but I think things could get messy! You might try slowing it down a little and doing less parallel work. This could save you time in future rework.

I agree that the business and educational objectives of career schools are often quite different Bryant. It can be particularly stressful when goals and objectives from each side conflict with each other.
I too like the ability to occasionally take a step back. When it's possible, if I'm feeling overwhelmed, taking a 5-10 minute break can really help me too.

Switching up your schedule by even just a few minutes can make a dramatic difference on commute time. Go ahead and give that a try by leaving a few minutes early as well as a few minutes late. You will likely find the perfect window.
This is an interesting technique David. Just thinking about things you enjoy, without even actually doing them, can relax some people.
Teaching the same course several years in a row can be a big time saver John. As an instructor, I always look for opportunities to teach courses I've taught in the past or to teach ones with similar content as before.

This sounds like a difficult balancing act David. I can understand why you feel stressed when you don't get a chance to see your family and children. Sometimes just making a point to visit with family a few minutes a day can make a big difference.
Ha! I like the term 'husband/animal therapy.' Nice!
