It takes more than type of evaluation to assess your course.  It is very important to get these evaulations so that you are able to make your course better for online learning for your students.  

What I learned in this module is the importance of having timely feedback for students.  

I learned the importance of creating a dynamic syllabus for an online class instead of the same one that I would use for my face to face classes 

I learned the importance of being consistant and using templetes to save time.  

This module was helpful in learning how to get all students involved in discussions in an online course.  I think the use of discussion are very beneficial to online courses and the tips that were given will be very helpful. 

I learned that it is just as important online as it is in face to face instruction to get to know your students and for your students to get to know you.  You just have to do it in different ways.

I have learned that it takes more than just knowing your content area to be an effective online teacher.  You must understand all that goes with teaching the course.  

One thing I have learned from this module is that teachers need to take different things into consideration when they are switching from face to face instruction to online teaching.  They need to think of the outcome they want and be organized.  They must also make sure they assess the course to make any changes that may be necessary for students to be successful in the course.  

In this module the importance of giving timely feedback was stressed.  It needs to be done on discussion boards and with assignments.  It is important to be engage in the class so you can make sure your students are learning and participating and you are able to answer all questions in a timely manner. 

I have learned that organization and communication are key components in online learning.  If we do not have either of these it will be hard for the student to be successful.  Also, consistancy is very important as well.  Students can get into a rhythm in a classroom environment if there is consistancy which will lead to them being more successful.
