 These potential emotional and psychological challenges can not be ignored. Institutions and administrations should continue to have programs in place to help veterans students as much as to have their staff aware in dealing/learning from these challenges. I believe most institutions have implemented programs to deal with these and educators have taken an important step in learning how to approach/handle these challenges. I personnaly appreciate everyone for doing their part in helping and accomodating a good learning environment for our veterans. Thank You! 

ED 142: Use different scopes, stay flexible, understand their goals, and use different motivational methods in the classroom to keep students learning interest. Service members bring experiences and knowledge that could help open interest on different topics/subjects in the classroom learning environment. Provide an opportunity to learn from each others past/present skill/knowledge learning experiences.  

Providing a well understood and defined purpose will allow it members to accomplish the task at hand. Provide the freedom and responsibility to allow them to tackle the problem and provide guidance as required. As a leader, provide a good example of a motivated leader with the desire of making the organization better. Take care of the organization members. Committment, trust, honesty, good communication, knowing your job, and respect will allow the unit members to follow you and accomplish the task.

How to help students prepare for situations which may occur in their future lives by applying game based learning methods in a flipped classroom. This method will challenge the student to do research, develop questions and use own experiences (or others) to impact learniong.

Excellent tool to use with community youth activities.

Planning to use Service Learning more and compliment with community service.

Some youth consider some types of community service as punishment for wrong doing. Service Learning should change their way of thinking.

 Proper use of Reinforcement/Prise....

Also an excellent tool for slow learners/poor students. As the lesson mentioned, don't over use it. 

Excellent educational tool for students in underdeveloped countries.

Give a student a free pencil, coloring book, or a notepad (to name a few) and it will greatly encourage education, study habits and support/involment from parents.

Pencil/notepad - Some students don't even have writing tools. A pencil/notepad encourages student desire to write, draw, etc.

Parents - Parents will support student as they see them receiving things that they don't have to purchase or that they never received when attending school.

Believe it or not..... this sometimes applies to adults students in these countries.
