About me

Activity

The saying "it takes a village" really does apply to the retention of students, Retention begins and ends in the classroom, but teachers are not the only people responsible for it. Staff and fellow studetns play a key role as well.

In the culinary field I have found that students respond to instructors with reallife experinces. Students want to be able to sdiscuss with instructors about the things to expect in the industry.

I find it more egaging for the student to "step out of your comfort zone". getting out from behind the desk or podium will help you reach all students and in turn keep them focused during lecture.
