I am thinking that front loading an online class will benefit students especially if they are trying to balance multiple classes and possibly a job or other extracurricular activities.

Having a very well defined syllabus is going to be very important. 

I think the synchronous method will work best for my high school math classes. There is an expectation that students will be available from 8-4 just like if we were meeting F2F. This one hurdle I will not have to face.

I have a better understanding of the importance of assess teaching technology and teaching methods by both the teacher and the students.

I am trying to figure out if a zoom or Google Meet would be considered synchronous discussion.

I think I already know the importance of developing a good relationship with students through face to face teaching, but I learned the extra effort that is going to be needed to build those same relationships over distance.

I am glad I am going through this before we select an online learning tool. This brought up a lot of good points on looking at availability of the material to the students, timing of lessons and assessments and many other things.
