I learned that the best instructors are good story tellers, actors, and experts who keep the class engaged while sharing knowledge. I intend to be this by varying my teaching style between written, auditory, visualization, and tactile while keeping a high level of enthusiasm and positivity.

I've learned that I can motivate the students by giving them a picture of the industry they are studying and how the course material is relevant to helping them be successful in that industry.

I've learned the importance of having a checklist to ensure the daily objectives have been facilitated to the class. Also, I should have a notebook handy at all times to jot down important notes that I need to come back to or questions that need to be answered in the next class.

I've learned that instructors are models, managers, and motivators. I need to develop a professional friendship with students to create an enthusiastic and relaxed learning environment without being the student's pal.
