I am proud to say that even though this course was excellent, my career school provides quality education such as this on a monthly basis to all of the managers and instructors in a classroom setting.

I just finished a course on Leading and Motivating.  Although this course is especially helpful as a manager in the world of education, it also appealed to me as an instructor in the classroom.  Managing employees in the work place and students in the classroom are two very comparable tasks.

I discovered there can be a distinct difference between being a leader and a manager.  In my particular job I find myself wearing both "hats."  There are times when I must "rally the troops" and get all of my students or instructors on board witha big picture idea which will… >>>

As a manager and a teacher I experience the parallels of managing instructors in the work-place and students in the classroom on a daily basis. Both roles require similar management and leadership skills. I believe no matter what you are managing, wether it be a classroom or an office, one must continuously "take inventory" of students and staff. How do you keep up on knowing what your students or staff need to excel in the classroom or on the job?
