RT 104 Best Practices to Enhance Student Retention

This course helped me with the concepts of student retention. It shows the importance of the involvement of the entire school in keeping the retention levels high. Everyone must be on the same page and work as a team to keep the students in school and head them in the right direction of success.

Yes this was a good course to bring to light the importance each person plays in student retention. Each department within the school can either have a negative or positive effect on the student. Student success from the positive attitutes given from each staff member.

Managing Stress

It is very important to manage your stress. If you as an instructor are stressed tha class will certainly pick up on it. They tent to get to know you very quickly. Stress is not a welcomed "visitor" in the class.
