Modifying classroom activities to active learning requires a shift in the instructor. The instructor becomes a facilitator of the learning activities. Active learning activities require planning and consideration of the space, tools, number of students, and ways to engage students in the content.

Active learning in the online environment can be limited by my ability to use the available technology. I want to become more proficient at using the tools in the Team meeting space to provide my students with a better learning experience.

Active learning requires instructors to provide learners with opportunities to apply content to solve problems.
