I’ve learned how to use gen AI more responsibly and effectively—by setting clear goals, verifying outputs, protecting sensitive data, and checking for bias. I plan to apply this by creating stronger prompts, double-checking results against trusted sources, and guiding my team to experiment with gen AI in ways that are ethical, inclusive, and aligned with our goals.

Right? It’s wild how much info is just out there. As tech evolves, I think the laws will have to catch up fast—especially to protect students’ privacy. It’s only getting trickier.

What’s one small thing you do (or could do) daily that reinforces a culture of compliance and student-centered service at your school?

I’ve learned that while some people may naturally have leadership traits, great leaders are developed—not just born. With the right support and mindset, anyone can grow into a strong leader.

I learned that managers play a key role in bringing a leader's vision to life. They help translate big-picture goals into actionable steps for the team.
