Admissions staff training and being up to date with admissions related terminology are not just important to complying with rules and regulations, but rather extremely crucial. 

Having an admissions checklist, being prepared for the interview, and utilizing organizational skills are crucial to complete the admissions process successfully and efficiently.

Marketing can be very tricky, so it is important to have as much knowledge as possible about the fair consumer practices and regulations related to marketing.  

What I learned is that the resource notebook is hands down the best resource for keeping important information for admission compliance and organization.

Understanding the consequences of not being compliance with the laws, rules, and regulations helps all admissions personnel perform their job ethically and transparent 

Being informed and complying with state, federal, and institutional rules and regulations is the key to doing our job correctly
