There were times when I offered to extend some time to students and provide advice to assist with challenges. As an instructor, I want to see my students succeed all aspects not just in my class but also at home and whatever capacity they need to also provide service and extend themselves.

Overall, understanding that students come to class with different challenges from home, from work, financials, family, day care issues has been a large factor in my classes. All these struggles must be taken into consideration and dealt with accordingly, and this helps to reduce behavioral issues.

I instructed students to research various topics and do presentations on their research. utilizing each one teach one and each one reach one concept, I also have them applaud each other. A little encouragement sweetens labor, and I find that the students enjoy sharing and learning from each other as well.

I appreciate this session on managing challenging behaviors in the classroom. In today's world we need all the resources and help we can get to survive in the most challenging times in our lives.

I find that when I do interactive learning and getting them engaged and involved in the lesson it helps to refocus the inattentive behaviors.  

The students who felt that they are in charge, soon learn that they are not, when they hear what they will be doing and not what they want me to do.

I have experienced challenging behaviors in almost all my classes. I learn the personalities and study the behaviors. Once I understand the behaviors, I strategies and give it my best with prayerful heart, and in most cases, I have a smooth day.

When working with a group of students, we are dealing with diverse personalities, and each learning style is also different. It is imperative that an instructor attempt to know their audience and strategies how to meet the need of each person as all are equally important.   

It is important to perform mid-course evaluation, so students knows where they are in their learning and to prevent mid-course slump.

Whenever an instructor is enthusiastic, it breaks the ice for the students, and creates an atmosphere for engagement and encourages students to share even when they are fearful.
