an essential point was the difference between evaluation and mentoring. If one is receiving a performance review, coaching is a separate experience. so vital to separate the person from the behavior, so that what they do is not who they are.

Even in an accelerated learning system, we have to slow down to process information into our long term memory. finding activites and games for the students to facilitate helps them play and learn in a way that they can identify with the material. also, wonderful resources as simple as youtube videos on instrumentation and technology, ppt's online on some of our tougher subjects to assimilate, and guest speakers expert in the topic, bring a collaboration that a single instructor can receive knowing we are a support to the learner, and able to tap into more resources than ever for a… >>>

I myself like guided note taking so I was encouraged to create simple clear guides for the students that can be their study guides.

Fascinating time in science where renewing the mind and body is now evidence based. reading Dr. Caroline Leaf and how these changes take place.

agreed. We have purposeful groups assigned based on learning styles, so it becomes a team format. Really an interesting way to simulate the workplace and conflict resolution as well.

Love the current teaching in brain management!! exciting to know we never stop learning or renewing the mind, that science is catching up with man's abilities of mind over matter!
