I found the course information very interesting and useful. The challenge for the instructor is finding the correct balance between content and technology. I agree that technology can be incorpotated into the classroom so that it enhances the subject matter as long as it is not presented as a substitue for using the on-ground library.

Motivation

When students have successfully completed a project, I show them examples of real life art where the same solution is used. This gets them very excited.

Getting to Know Students

Career college students have more life experience than recent high school students, therefore, I ask them alot of questions during the first class session. I often pair off older adults with younger adults during projects so that they can learn from one another.
