Students all learn in different ways through different methods. In the online environment it is vital to maintain student engagement, and constantly encourage them as it they need to have great time management and motivation when enrolled in online classes

It is important to understand there is always room for growth. Student feedback allows for adjustments and growth to be made for the instructor and for future students

Rubrics help both instructors and students know the expectation of the assignment.  They help students self-evaluate evaluate and understand their work and are a good source of feedback. Rubrics also help ensure all assignments are graded equally and fairly

The syllabus sets the tone of the course. Make sure it is concise and clear as it sets the expectations of the students for the course

This course has helped me understand the importance of creating consistent modules and databases that will be beneficial to students in the online setting and the program as a whole
