I learned how to effectively communicate through emails, how to respond, how to distinguish the different learners, and how to interact effectively. 

In this section I learned to understand the learning types you have within your students. I have also learned the disadvantages, advantages, and when is the right time for asynchronous and synchronous communication. 

I learned that even with distance education you should build relationships and get to know your students, so that it will help them navigate better through the courses. The will be more open to reach out and engage more if they feel like they have that relationship with you without being in person. 

I learned that as an instructor we should get familiar with the content, the online systems, and how to navigate through the programs so we can answer any questions that the learners may have while navigating through the online learning courses.
