The main thing other than the five keys to me is communication. communication is key in every aspect of life. What was laid out here is a great learning tool for me to offer my students.

This module helps in understanding how to prepare a student who may be shy or intimidated by the interview process. Setting up Mock Interviews help tremendously with this.

Helping the students to create their best cover letter and resume'. Also researching the companies and understanding what they are looking for in candidates. This will really help them in honing in on their skills.

I have learned how to offer students ways to really dig deep in learning about themselves. Also, leading them to great resources for job search, networking, and potential job leads. How to get them ready for that first interview.

What I take away from this module is keeping in touch with the students after graduation. I will provide them with job leads and check in periodically. Thus, maintaining a professional relationship throughout.

Building gainful relationships with the students is key. Being able to provide the necessary resources. Taking all examples from this module will help not only Career Services but students to excel.

I have learned that Career Services Department is a crucial component for setting the student up for success in gaining employment and succeeding in their fields. 

Career services is a great resource for our students. Being able to have job search information and other materials can help with setting the student up for success. I have implemented almost all of these resources from this module for our campus.

During my mock interviews and even a few days prior, I begin questioning and exploring. Using this model will really help me to hone in on the things that may be a challenge for them. This will help in encouraging them and building their confidence.

I would take the assessments provided so I can take a deep look at myself. One way I can provide help is also by using examples of my own issues that prevented me from moving forward. I can explain how those obstacles actually helped lead to my personal success. When they here this, it motivates them to push forward. It's like hearing someone speak that understands where they are.
