This is my first term of TEACHING Critical Thinking, and I admit, I'm struggling with it.  Just trying to build enthusiasm in the 18 students is an uphill job.  This course has been helpful in understanding concepts and how to share them in the classroom.

Well stated.  I also learned some new tchniques to try in the classroom. Good luck to all of us!

I agree.  YTI Compliance Modules were an excelledt way to refresh the importance of Disclosure, Transparency, etc. in our minds.

Veronica,

I can relate!  Some days these "adult students" act like they are in pre-school - and I'm ashamed to admit that it shows in my attitude at times.  However, I keep reminding myself and my students of the professional behavior required by employers.  Striving for professionalism seems to be a big hurdle for some of the students we work with in our location.

ED 102

A very worthwhile course - lots of good information to transfer to classroom setting.  Hopefully it will help me to be a better instructor.

I understand the financial importance to a school to maintain good retention of students, but when a student is so openly negative, even hostile, to the entire learning environment, I feel we are not fair to the other students to continue to "retain" one disgruntled student. Where do we draw the line?
