I learned that tentative statements are ensuring that the message was indeed received and heard, but also open to clarifying if need be.  

I learned that TMC has both pros and cons. Communication is vital and in this form it can still be a great tool for learners. 

Online learning has vastly grown over the years which has become somewhat of a competition between providers that utilize an online learning structure. It is vital that any institution separates themselves accordingly to provide what they feel a student in their program will need to be successful.  

There are many factors in which may affect the student retention. Whether it's from individual, external, and or institutional factors. It is also important to create an encouraging and supportive environment for students.
