I think it's important to understand that younger generations have specific lingo or cadence to online communication versus older generations. 

I agree that proper etiquette is important in online communications. I think it's important we teach our students this skill as well. 

There are many tools that one can use for communication. I have not explored the social media idea yet, but that is something that I thought about after reviewing this material
