During orientation, it is important for teachers to discuss what they teach and let the students know that they are resources and mentors for them. It would be a great idea for the teachers to give the students packets with a list of supplies that they need to be successful for each program. We have a Big Sister Program for the Dental Assistants. The seniors help the freshman with any questions that they have every other Friday from 3:15-3:30. I would like to implement the Big Sister Program for all of the programs that we offer.
