I appreciated learning the three factors to motivate learning: appreciation of the value of the learning experience, expectation of success, and belief that performance is related to rewards.  Also, I enjoyed hearing what the Havard professor shared around insightful discussions and importance of students not sharing what they learned the night prior, rather what they learned/gained during the class.

Planning and preparation are key to success.  I plan to be intentional, organized, and informed in my planning and preparation while seeking feedback from other instructors to refine where needed.

You do not need to present yourself as the smartest, as that may actually be a downfall.  Follow model, manage, and motivate.  Students will need encouragement to keep them moving towards their goal-be ready to provide that.
