Hello

My name is Cassandra Hinton. I just recently went from adjunct instructor to full time instructor in the MLT program. I have been a medical technologist for over 20 years. I find that teaching comes natural to me as I train all the time at my job. However I find that preparation is a vital piece of the puzzle and it has renewed my enjoyment of the field. I look to having continued success in my new found profession in helping people meet their professional goals.

I found ED 112 to be helpful in providing alternatives to helping adult students stay motivated. It was a great reminder to put myself in the shoes of the students that I am trying to teach. Seeing things from their perspective will help me continually review and restructure my classroom approach as needed.
