The biggest takeaway from this section is that everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. Students with diabilities want to be treated the same as everyone else and to have people not just look at their disability or what they can not do. 

I have learned more about providing equal access to students. Universal design is new to me so I liked learning more about that along with the examples provided. I plan on applying this by looking at the design of buildings and environments to see if it is appropriately designed for access for all people. 

This module taught me more about the different types of disabilites. Many people think of disabilities as those that can be seen but do not think about the othe disabilities that are not visible. I liked learning more about each one and how it can it relates to accomadations.

I have learned that accomadations help remove barriers to learning and provide opportuniteis to achieve the same outcomes as people without disabilities. I have also learned more about the law and regulations and how it started.
