Knowing your learning style is important as is researching and knowing available technology in order to select the correct tool for student learning and engagement.

multiple evaluations and multiple sources are needed for student evaluation.

rubrics are important for students to pregrade as well as to provide grading consistency. Using formative AND summative assessment is extremely important.

I found scaffolding very important in the lesson. I had never considered that poor scaffolding could hinder future learning. I also found communication communities important to student learning and teacher support.

I plan to build templates and focus on being consistent when I design classes so my students are familiar with processes and can focus more on learning: consistency is key.

This module reminded me how important documentation is and the channel used with counseling students. I also appreciated learning some new ways to deal with disruptive behavior before it begins. I cannot wait to use it next week!!!

The differences and role asynchronous and synchronous play in online learning. I am going to be more thoughtful in my development to increase student participation.

I should be looking for learner participation AND learning experiences while detecting conflict regularly so my presence is felt. I recognize the importance of timely responses and full communications to decrease miscommunications.

It is important to think and develop the course format based on how you want it delivered. I do lock modules and will need to create a schedule or checklist to make sure my settings are inline with course format.
