Activity

Setting the stage for the learning environment as a facilitator creating boundaries with students, and how one represents themselves to the class.

Becoming a facilitator can be and adjustment but also an important role as and educator

Encourage students to always express their needs or leaning habits. Navigate ways to help students with disabilities succeed in the class by communicating and trying different avenues.

Not every student learns the same therefore repetition will help students retain information.

Knowing how to put students in groups, making each group balanced based on the students strengths and weaknesses.

Continuously moving around the classroom will help make the students feel more involved and help keep their attention.

Practicing demonstrations or new lecture techniques are important prior to the lecture.

Getting to know students and them getting to know you will be beneficial to set the mood for the course.

I have learned that planning is an essential part of teaching and being prepared is most beneficial for yourself and the students.

I learned how to set the stage for the classroom and expectations of myself and the students. Also how to engage and also hold boundaries with students as the professional role in their lives.
