I learned that there is a difference between licensing and accreditation. That accreditation us voluntary but it's an important aspect of quality assurance. 

Marketing of an institution has a key role in the admissions office to attract the students. The advertisement of has to follow guidelines and be true to the institution's vision and mission. 

It is always important reiterate to the students the requirements to enter the institution and it is important to state the basic information about the financial aid and repayment methods. Many students are overwhelmed by all the information they receive and is good practice to reinforce the information. 

I learned that there are many different definitions and terms that are used commonly but not really understood by the students.
