The interactive, in real time feedback seems to be a critical component of successful adult learning spaces. 

 

Proactive reflection before an interaction happens can ensure the impression of clarity and competence from the instructor is a good tool to ensure smooth Q&A within a discussion. Remember to study yourself before teaching and asking them to study. 

 

Is there any consistent follow up post completion of the program expected, acted upon or supported? If there is, is it enough? Should there be more? Should instructors even be in that space for them post completion? 

Maintaining relationships with students can mean ensuring you maintain an internal dialog of why you want to be an instructor to be successful. 

 

 

Engagement in the classroom requires the same interest the instructor hopes to foster towards the curriculum from the students be equal or greater to the interest the instructor has in on that same curriculum. 

Diligent observation with an eye toward each students strengths and needs can ensure a broader success for the class, and individual student, if the instructor is mindful about what those needs look like and provide the students with resources as simple as patience or encourgement.
