I have been teaching online for the six years, and I know that having clear, concise, and timely communication is imperative. Are there any suggestions of new innovated ways to communicate with students?

This was a great course.  Especially the forum on classroom presence. Thank you!

I find that rubrics are the best way to provide feedback. Rubrics provide a student with a clear understanding of their grade, in addition to the breakdown of their grade the instructor can also provide the student with specific feedback to the assignment that will support the rubric.
Hello All, I always debate the idea of providing my students with an oral resume on the first day of class. I hesitate with this idea because I do not want to come off as being "know it all" Does anyone have any suggestions on how to give a brief introduction on my education/experience?

Hello my name is Lauren Lopez and I am a Mathematics Instructor at a Technical College, in Atlanta, Georgia. Over the last six years, I have realized that my students become more engaged in the classroom if the content is connected to real-world application. I believe retention is stronger if students can apply the content to their personal lives.
