This module explained how to properly assess student's knowledge by using a variety of methods such as true/false and matching.

I've learned not to ask questions in class as a whole because I always just get those few students who sit in front answering all the questions.  I began going by rows and individually and giving them time to respond.  That way I can see who is understanding the material and who isn't.

I have seen an increased interest in my students after flipping the classroom.  Less lecture time, more hands on activities provided the right balance in our classroom.

I make sure to start off each semester with an ice breaker with them introducing themselves and something they like so everyone gets to know one another and I learn their names much faster that way.  The students seem to be suprised when I call them by name and they are much happier participating and coming to class knowing they are seen/heard/appreciated.
